By creating an account or using MAXtap, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the app.

If you are using MAXtap on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these terms.

MAXtap is a rewards-optimization tool that compares the credit cards in your wallet and recommends the one likely to earn you the most value for a given purchase.

The app lets you build a virtual wallet of cards, search merchants, estimate rewards, and log purchases to track your earnings over time.

MAXtap does not process payments, hold funds, or issue credit cards. It is an informational and tracking tool only.

You must provide a valid email address to create an account.

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account.

You must be at least 18 years old to use MAXtap.

Reward calculations are estimates based on publicly available card terms at the time of calculation. Actual rewards may differ due to issuer rule changes, spending caps, category definitions, redemption options, or other factors.

MAXtap does not guarantee the accuracy of any reward estimate. You should always verify reward terms with your card issuer before making a purchase decision.

Point and mile valuations for non-cashback cards are estimates and can vary based on how you redeem your rewards.

MAXtap provides general information about credit card rewards. It is not financial, tax, or investment advice.

You should consult a qualified financial advisor before making decisions about credit cards, spending, or rewards redemption.

MAXtap does not recommend applying for or closing credit card accounts — it only compares cards you already hold.

You agree to provide accurate information when adding cards and logging purchases.

You agree not to use MAXtap for any unlawful purpose or in a way that could damage, disable, or impair the service.

You agree not to attempt to access other users' data or circumvent the app's security measures.

MAXtap, its design, catalogue data, and recommendation engine are owned by MAXtap. Card names, issuer names, and reward program names are trademarks of their respective owners and are used for identification purposes only.

MAXtap is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any card issuer.

MAXtap is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, MAXtap shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

MAXtap is not liable for any decisions made based on reward estimates, including missed rewards or suboptimal card usage.

You can delete your account at any time. Upon deletion, your cards and transactions are permanently removed.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we determine pose a risk to the service or other users.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated terms within the app. Continued use of MAXtap after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Canada and the province of Ontario, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
